Apparently Vic Health granted the exemption following ATAGI guidelines
Still had to be allowed into the country but yes anyone involved with this crazy decision is going to cop the heat.
Is Dopey Dan behind this? Obviously, Tiley doesn't care as long as the comp $$$$$$$$$$$ goes ahead.

There is very little which allows for a COVID vaccine exemption, I figure he has a medical certificate from some doctor who just hands them out for a wad of cash. Not much you can do if a doctor issues the certificate.
Anyway, I walked in to my local pharmacy today after registering for a booster, with an appointment at the start of Feb, and managed to get a walk-up booster shot. Was about the second last shot they had left for the day so a bit lucky. Asked if there were any quieter times for my partner, they said it was a mad house all day. Needless to say they have no RAT tests, big sign out the front to reduce the questions. Moderna this time after 2 doses of AZ. Good timing with the current outbreak but I reckon the timing has more to do with supply and distribution than anything else.
Thankfully I have never had symptoms, would hate to be trying to get a test at the moment, total sh!tshow which was anticipated but not planned for.

I wonder if you can get a Medical Exemption if you prove to Vic Health that you have been vaccinated but do not want to reveal your medical status.
It's not an explanation. It's just an overview of the decision making process. It explains nothing. Their use of "rigorous" is a clear indicator they knew their decision would generate a lot of heat. I'm not sure they realised how much heat.
I wondered the same, he is a strange one and does not come across as very likeable. Maybe he wants to appeal to the anti-vax sovereign citizen types or look like a maveric individual but still got the jab anyway. If so, someone should leak it.
