Don't draftees from the National draft get 2 year contracts? If so, then wouldn't Lloyd and Gordon be contracted for 2015?

Once they sort the 2014 group out, really need to start opening contract negotiations with Martin, Rance and Cotch and get them signed up for a few more years. Earlier the better, don't want them getting tempted.

Get me the links to confirm and I'm Happy to make the changes.

Yes you would have to think Dea is safe being taken to Adelaide. I would have thought Batch would be OK unless there is thought of a trade, GWS want a key defender (not that Batch is Key) and we apparently want Shiel

18 year olds entering the system for the first time get minimum two year contracts, not so for mature age guys

I have no idea if talks are happening, I didn't actually suggest that, just media speculation but the talk about Shiel has been around a while and his partner is Choco's daughter.

I'd maybe give a toe nail, but not much more.Nothing i've seen of Shiel this year excites me, gets the ball a lot but gets caught a lot, and disposal is nothing special. He'd need to be cheap........

I was thinking Arnott would be let go, but with Jacko going I suspect he will be given another year, maybe as a rookie, who knows. Still think we will delist Helbig, O'Hanlon and Edwards so frees up 5 spots on the main lists which one goes to Miles for sure, and Thomas may move off the rookie list. We could end up with a complete overhaul of our rookie list.

There's no need to upgrade Thomas. He can stay a rookie, or be let go.

Darrou is the one who can no longer stay as rookie. He'll probably be let go though.

I expect a fresh batch of rookies, with only Miles upgraded.
