I hope he turns the corner this year. While his disposal was awful yesterday, he will be better for the run.
Disco08 said:Perhaps. Giansiracusa took a heap last year after not playing that role at all during his career. Maybe someone like Newman or Houli could be converted. Both certainly have the footskills to hurt teams that let them.

Leysy Days said:Nahas & King are fulfilling the role OK now but have queries if they are up to having an impact in big games in September when the standard increases. The fact they pose no threat overhead limits them when things get tough/tight & space is at a premium ILO.

Speaking of which how's Mitch going for the Swans? Biting us on the arz yet?

We all know he has the talent, let's hope he can go on with it. He and Edwards give us the creativity, King can then play to his strengths and Nahas can play higher up the ground running forwards into the 50, which makes him so much more dangerous.
Agree on Connors' fitness Leyser. Run, boy, run.
SCOOP said:Dayle Garlett is one for me. Would take the punt on a second rounder if he was there. In a flash. We aren't quite in a spot to take the chance on him as a first rounders.
SCOOP said:But Connors is something that we don't have. Has a stack of X factor. Saw what you want about him but he has huge talent.
Leysy Days said:Any reason why not Scoop? Having not seen much of him is it off-field, talent etc

Has that by the bucket. It's this http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/sport/a/-/afl/13909505/young-gun-desperate-to-clean-up-his-act/ and this http://www.heraldsun.com.au/afl/more-news/personal-issues-damage-dayle-garlett-appeal/story-e6frf9jf-1226298620299
If it was a weaker draft I would take the punt but when you can get a A grader without issues in the first round, you have to take it. But for a second rounder with a A grader banked away, I would take the punt in a heart beat.

Yep refer to J. Darling.Leysy Days said:You would be wary of how much it can blown up by WA & there comes a time where the talent is just too great for the pick & you have to take a chance.
