Connors

He is on the list and is contracted. If he is doing everything right attitude wise then that is that. When was his last indiscretion? I have no reason to want to defend the bloke, other than that he is a Richmond player and we need to see him have another stint, cos he's pretty good and still young

Sheesh there is some almighty give ups on here

You'd reckon he could only be a replacement for Miller if Vickery also comes in. Jack needs some other targets above the head and on the lead. If no Vickery then Miller is still needed.

Connors asked to be traded out last year. If he still wants to leave at year end then forget playing him now. Pick players who want to play for our club.
Wayne Campbell once asked to be traded. Stayed and went on to win a b & f.

So you're saying Connors is out next Captain ? Big call.

King not hitting the scoreboard but is still offering defensive pressure. Will Connors bring that?
Worth a shot.

Must have missed this defensive pressure this year we keep talking about. King had 8 pressure acts on weekend. Just for comparison Nahas had 22. King is not performing the role he has been put in the team for. Connors should be able to give at leastthat much defensively with the added bonus of being very creative and hopefully kicking some goals. Yes it is worth a shot.

How will we know if he wants to leave at the end of the year to decide whether to play him now? I suppose I could lend them my crystal ball, it comes in very handy sometimes.

I'd assume the club has some idea. Or if not, they could ask I suppose. I'm not a fan of new age crystal ball type stuff. Next you'll be recommending homeopathy for muscle strains.

The VFL have the bye this he this week. So this would be the perfect week to play Connors as a sub. Rest King, as he does not look to be near 100% fit.

Rubbish.

He was told he was going to be delisted, and was. The only thing that saved him was Thursfield hanging up the boots. The club didn't want to take an extra kid on a 2yr contract based off last years draft. Decided to keep him for 12mths and if he improves, great. If not, we get an extra pick in a deeper draft.

So rumours that he failed a fitness test with Adelaide are false ? And what did he do to get on the wrong side of the club again ?

I'm pretty sure his issues have been pretty wildly documented. Nothing new that brought it about.

Injury to Grimes and some poor form from our forwards and now we are calling for Connors. Now we are scapping the bottom of the barrel. Not the future. There are more players in front of him at Coburg who deserve the jumper.
Have you watched him play the last couple of weeks? Should have Kings spot. We have to reward performance.
