Connors

If the X factor means a blind turn a game, he has the X factor. Take any remotely reasonable offer for trade. Going nowhere. No hunger.

Agree with this. Looks like he carries too much weight which is a big warning sign for me. Trade him while people still think he has the X factor.

What is he worth on the open market?

What is a 23 yr old 27 game player who has proven nothing, has had off field issues and this year one hell of a mysterious quad injury worth?

A packet of chicken twisties? or a half eaten pastie?

Did you say X factor, more like D factor
If anyone shows any intrest in him, wave him goodbye.
Was something in 08,

Massive question marks on what has happened to Connors in 2011.

Something doesn't add up. I thought he was making strides in 2010 but he is running out of time.

But unfair to say "thought he was making strides" implying he hasn't performed. Hasn't played at AFL or VFL level.

The guy has had injuries all year. There has never been any mention of him going off the rails, only that he has had a rotten run with injuries this season. Leon Cameron nearly missed an entire season at the Bullies with quad injuries so it isn't unheard of.

The calf injury is a mystery for sure . I remember about 10 years ago Wayne Campbell being out for a long time ( maybe 10-12 weeks ) with a calf injury that just wouldn't get better . It seems to happen from time to time .

my guess either its a recurring injury, or a more serious injury has happened during the initial recovery

bad luck for the kid, thought he would have a cracker this year

yeah , I had high hopes for him this year . I remember reading in the preseason that he was the fittest he had ever been . there was a story that he had beaten his previous best around the tan by plenty . He got injured in the preseason , missed some practice games and was our first ever sub and its been all downhill from there .

I would keep him for the last year of his contract but it will be do or die for him in 2012 .

He has a quadricep tendon injury. Hard to heal. Apparently has gotten to about 90% fitness a few times before reinjuring himself.

I don't think there's anything fishy here, just a cruel year injury-wise. It happens. The bloke has talent and seems to have matured. Here's to a better 2012.

Injury prone dud. Trade or delist, hasnt played a good game since 2008.
Averaged 24 possessions in 2010 including one game against fremantle when he got 35 possessions and 3 Brownlow votes .

If you are going to bag someone you may as well get your facts right
