I like Connors as a player , always have . Gets the pill and his kicking faults are overstated imo.
Has x-factor as well which is something we have been lacking. I like him playing wing / half forward .

Connors is definitely on the outer atm.
Houli has been a far better distributor from HB.
Still he's got a bit of time left to show why he should remain.

Dans been barely above fringie status in an ordinary team since we got him. Been out all year injured and people are tarting him up as trade bait. Trade for *smile* what? He's done Sweet Fanny Addams since we've had him.

I am not necessarily defending Connors output since he came to the club , so please don't think that . However think of it this way .TigerMasochist said:

That is the way I see Dan Connors . He is a very talented footballer who has shown at times ( agreed rarely ) that he can play well at AFL level . 6 months ago we heard that he was the fittest he had ever been . i remember reading that he had smashed his record on the tan by a massive amount . he played about 8 weeks of very good footy last year as well after he came back but tailed off at the end , probably due to fitness. He was injured in the preseason this year and never got started and got injured .
I am just not ready to write him off personally because I reckon the kid can play . But time will tell .
Doesn't make him tradeable sinnerman. I'm a fan of Condogs talent, but there's no trade value at present. I'd rather keep him for one more year and if he's fit get the absolute maximum out of him. If he steps up to a quality player as he's teased then it's our bonus. If he provides nothing then no great loss, I don't believe there's much trade value after not playing this year so if he doesn't step up next year he's still got stuff all trade value.Sintiger said:
