Nope. Just explaining why if a club did want him, they might trade rather than wait for the draft. Brown's career is finished and rightfully so.

Fair enuff, although I think there's an unwritten law when it comes to the older players. Once an agreement is done then other teams don't touch them.

Essendon did not take much notice when they drafted Michael.

the overriding impression of Connors is he is constantly playing for his highlight reel and plays the furthest thing from "team football" as you could get.
Couldn't have put it better myself.
He plays like a millionaire but looks to have a bit of ability and natural flair.
next yr is his last on contract.
Injury free he will be our most improved in 2010.

Had a chance to trade him last year and we failed. Be lucky to get a toilet seat for him now.

I think Geelong traded King to saints for pick 90 ish. they dont need to use the pick, and i thought this was good form for an ex captain who they were always going to delist. I cant see any harm in telling browny etc that they will not be offered a contract with us, but if they can find a home elsewhere, we'll try to facilitate this. even trade him to someone for pick 80, which can then be used on Josh Free!

I wouldn't be trading Conners. The guy can seriously play, and given a full pre season and some decent direction under Hardwick I feel he could really blossom. Then again I could be wrong and he finds himself delisted in 12 months time.

loads of talent. Definite keep for now and hope we can get he best out of him. At a good club could be a gun.

He looks and moves like a footballer, but in the few games he played this year he put in some of the worst efforts I have seen. Seriously soft.

In past years he hasn't shown anything that would make you think he won't make it due to a lack of ticker. So something must have been wrong this year. No confidence, no desire, no respect for his coach?

I suspect he will have 12 months to establish himself or he might be down at centrelink.

FWIW I reckon he could make a quality small defender. He has neat skills and appears to make reasonable decions. He just needs to find the desire.

I have no time for this kid til he puts his head over the ball
Against Meblurne where he pooped his pants and then copped it off Miller was a F Joke!

It appears Danny will be yet another in a long list of RF players who didn't make it. He'll get another season, probably 2 before we decide to punt him.

will be given the chop shortly, hardwick isnt the only one culling this list, campbell, king and free are all having a say.

David King? Why?

Oh you mean Jake..

If you want to see why people always rave on about his bad attitude just visit his facebook. Absolute metro idiot who is so up himself it isn't funny, this applies to Cleve Hughes as well. It seems to have carried over into his football which is not surprising. If he is to make it next year he will have to lift his level of professionalism tenfold. I would love, LOVE for him to make it. One of the only players on our list with a long, accurate and penetrating kick. He could be the ultimate replacement for Brown on the HFF but I'm not hopeful.

IMO Dan has 1 more year to show something, and all of the following should be shown the door before him:

Hislop trade/delist
King delist
McMahon trade/delist
Pettifer delist
Raines trade/delist
Schulz trade/delist
Silvester delist
Simmonds delist

Hughes (if he doesn't respond significantly to early training with Hardwick)

However,
I don't see hardwick getting rid of Hislop and possibly King this season, becasue they bring hardness to the contest.

McMahon is on a big contracted, but naturally he needs to go. Hopefully we can get something for him (very doubtful), otherwise we'll be paying him big bucks to get easy kicks at Coburg.

Next season, many more will go, but we have already said goodbye to 5 players - and it is possible that Richo may decide to call it quits (but I think he'll choose to stay on for one more year).
