Saw him for the first time this weekend. I really like what I saw. I don't think he'll be a superstar, but it wont be long before he's one of the first names written down on the team sheet.

Connors, Edwards, Foley, Thursfield - These guys have what it takes to lift the tigers out of the slump we've been in for so long. If other players with better skills showed the same guts and determination, we'd be a pretty servicable team.

well done tony, the thing i noticed on the weekend that along with connors, thursfield and polak and mcguane all delivered the ball well. I did not panic as i used to with Kellaway and *smile*!! some real positives

I agree. Everyone wants to kick you when you are down. Both Tursty and Connors are miles better than williams.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. We are going to get dudded big time for our performances this year. NO nominations and a Carlton priority pick are probably going to be the next insults to us supporters. Everyone loves kicking us when we're down.
