Connors

not on saturday's performance oldie - he'd blow up if he was on the field for more than 5 minutes against the cats

Connors still isn't fit enough to run out a full game but he's a lot better than he was at the beginning of the year. If he comes off the bench he should be able to run out a game playing 60%.

No wonder, he has had no pre-season. Nothing to worry about just has no base to work on. Think about you do a limited pre-season your first year and then you miss basically all of the second one you do. Not surprising he is short of a gallop.

Daniel might need to make sure he keeps his feet on the ground and cuts back a bit on those outrageous hanger attempts.
Nothing wrong with a big mark occaisionaly but trying to fly from nowhere is just to low a percentage.
Daniel plays much better at ground level and doesn't need to take himself out of the contest searching for speccies.

25 possession game against the Cats late last season..
Is Daniel any chance of a surprise call up this week?
remember that game, seems he may still be a week or 2 away.

i would keep him a coburg for a while longer. preferably on a hbf as i reckon he lairises too much in the fwd line. i know the club was all over him for a small indiscretion a week or so again so he has some work to do before he plays for richmond.

needs to be more diciplined on the field and his disposal ATM is terrible

As his president and after watching Saturday's game I'm happy to see him stay with Coburg this week.

I'll be at the curtain raiser on Saturday. See how he goes then for a promotion to the dreamtime game.

Good point, feisty.

Did Connors kick a left foot inside 50 on the run in the first quarter that knocked a bloke's eyes out against the poise? It was a gem of a kick.

I don't agree I think his disposal is good saw a few passes on Saturday that were at of the top draw nothing wrong with that just needs to stay in a game & not drift which might have something to do with missing pre season due to injury might be the type of guy that if he plays in the seniors needs a good stretch to pick up the pace & he would be at home at AFL level.

Might be an optical illusion, but I thought he played with more of a straight bat on Saturday (apart from the attempts to take a speccy in the last).Played more team orientated football, didn't go for the outrageous or impossible baulk, took the first option most times and distributed well to teammates, thought his disposal was good also.

Maybe I'm seeing what I want to see, but I think he's maturing as a footballer. (Considering it's his second year I may just be pointing out the obvious).
