Chris Knights

Agreed.

Though apart from fleeting glimpses he's never hit the level of those two. Cogs in particular.

Cogs was a tragedy for both him and the club. Massive talent. No doubt would have captained the club.

Ahhh, Cogs, what could have been??
A great talent never to be truly realised.

He was ridiculously good for the Cows pre-injuries, since then hasn't had continuous enough footy to get the chance to hit those levels again. Different type of player too to those two.

Hate to be rude and demeaning but at this point in time MEH! Unfortunately looking like a roll of the dice that crapped out for us.
Poor bugger has run into a wall since he rocked up at Tigerland ( it happens sometimes ), just glad it wasn't one of our stars or an upcoming star. We've never really had him on the park so can't really miss his input.
Always hope that every player who pulls on the jumper has a long n successful career with us, sometimes *smile* just happens n some poor bugger has to wear it, in this case it's Chris Knights. Should he happen to get the body working n play some footy for us it's a bonus, probably more so for him than anything else.
Way to old n cynical to expect much in the way of miracles, but certainly hope he can get a solid uninjured season of footy under the belt.

That's a pretty reasonable summation of the situation, TigerM

Has played more than 16 games in a season twice in 10 years.

He's nothing more than a bonus if he plays & can get up to the level.

We also can't play the unlucky card when he played what 26 AFL games in the 3 years before we rolled out a 3 year deal.

Yeah, other than decent $$$ only gave up a list spot.

Just not sure on the love he gets. Seems to get better the longer he's out.

It's a tough game isn't it Daisy. Talent only the half of it.
Some bodies are built for the stresses of footy others aren't. Got to dodge a few bullets too.
They deserve every dollar they earn for putting themselves on the line in the prime of their lives.

I hope Chris kills it this year. Deserves to take something away from the slog of recovery.

True that.

Though plenty of us have put our bodies on the line for local sport for $300K a year less than Chris for example.

Love of your sport & camaraderie leysy spose.

True Daisy but it's not your profession.

That said Chris seems to also have a sideline business outside of football.

One feels he's going to need it soon enough.

So good to see him running freely today. Was involved in some beaut pieces of play.
He really does have class about him but just isn't match fit yet. Be interesting if he can snare a spot.
He'd be ahead of a few like Gordon.

Confused him for Cotch from the way he moved early on in the game when he kicked that goal. He's dropped some weight which is good. I had written him off, but he looked super today.
