Seriously can't make too many changes and Jack Riewoldt stays in for structure (looks like Higgins is playing CHF as it is) and work rate - class player will come good. If Astbury fit, Balta moves to back up defender/ruck with Soldo or Chol out - Cotchin for Naish. Watching closely Graham, Rioli, KMac, Eggman, Aarts - can bring in Dow or RCD for next game.

Sorry but disagree on Ross. Always underwhelmed by what he does at AFL level. Stack's impact was off the scale good.

Ross to me is pretty average right now. Skills - average. Pace - average. Decision making/play making ability - average. He is only 19 but not sure he will be anything more than a depth mid. Have only seen Dow play twice and even then only briefly but he already stands out as having AFL traits to me. He looked like he had time when he got the ball. Ross always looks under the hammer when he gets it and his disposals have no hurt factor. As I said he is only 19 so should have improvement in him but plenty sell him as a young gun and he's far from it to me.
 
Even with our best side we struggle against these muppets.
Hardwick needs to see what Carlton does against them because it works.
Pity the only thing Hardwick worried about is when Houli and Edwards get back.
By the time they get back we will 2 games out of the 8.

We have lost only one game from last 4 and to a full strength gws at home,their best side of the year,had more inside 50s,more shots,a couple of better kicks and we win,naughton beat us last time and it's not at Etihad, so we are a great chance to win.

my observation is that we love Metricon and play it almost as good as anywhere.

got front row seat for the dogs and the lions, so hope to continue playing my role as PRE boundary rider.

Think about men, it could be worse, we could have had a game like the Pies. In addition, they are about to find out what it's like to play with your leaders missing, by the looks of yesterday, we cope better than they do.
