Changes v Mutts

Personally don't think Rioli will be dropped. More likely we bring Stack in and rotate him and Castagna further up the ground and also in F50.

I'd do Cotch and RCD for Graham and Pickett

very.

Dimma says he'll roll through the midfield. exciting.

$hai, Stackman, Marlion through the middle.

I really hope we do clamp down on Bont. Marlion could be the man?

I don’t think we have anyone who can slow the Bont down , maybe try and have Dustygo head to head , I think McCraes crucial too and we possibly can have Grahamrun with him ,hopefully Lambert can a shake the tag

Need to stop the smurf off half back.
He plays the sweeper role really well.
Im spewing we don't have any Maxfield, Free or Goodwin types playing currently. He wouldn't last a qtr.
Bailey Smith is a good midfielder.
McCrae top quality midfielder
Bompmytelly top 3 players in the comp.
We will struggle at stoppages especially as predicted its going to fine weather no rain.
Last weeks loss will feel not that bad after tommorow night.

If Stack is rolling through the midfield and Cotchin coming back as well, I cant see Graham making the cut.

However that means another needs to drop out.

An injury we are not aware of?

Ins Chimpah, Syd A Knee. Locks.
Outs Naish, Eggs.
Quick fall from grace for Eggs considering he won the Bravia the week before.
Only reprieve for him is if Syd A Knee plays more as a mid.
Then Fridge or Rioli out?

It could mean Lambert goes back to his role at high half-forward connector, meaning Rioli and George don't have to go so far up the ground and be exhausted when it comes time to rove our forward entries.

I think @eZyT is right, we need to reduce our VFL quota, which means Naish and Aarts out for Chimp and Stack. Eggs stays because our defence can carry him and Houli is 32.

Midfield battle. Soldo needs to lay down the law to English. First bounce, knee in the kidneys. All night, lean on him like Tyson Fury leaned on Wilder. Let him know who's bigger. Man him up when he sits behind the play. We don't need our ruck sitting back to stop Josh 'towing a tractor tyre' Bruce.

You could argue Bont is a top-3 player in the comp, I could prove Dusty is top-1. Smith is a young star, he's one we should pay attention to. Not sure Graham or Chimp could keep up with him in general play but at stoppages one of them should make themselves well-acquainted with him as fiercely and as often as possible.

Macrae is one of my least favourite players in the league, the way he goes to ground in an (usually successful) attempt to win a too-high free. But he can play, and racks the pill up. I hesitate to use @Dyer'ere 's jail cell analogy, but Marlion looks ideal for him.

Soldo-Dusty-Chimp-Shai-Marlion-Stack-Graham v English-Bont-Smith-Macrae-Libba-Lipinski-Richards. Smash em.

hopfully stack's been throwing up his KFC on the training track - no walk around the park this week.

They'll keep Eggs for another week at least; Sony Bravia got to mean something!
Our biggest problem on here is not having training reports so we're just guessing. Who's carrying an injury, eg. Flossy? Who's training better? etc.

Normally id advocate for another game for paddy naish and to give performing aarts another week.

But this normal is new

Out: naish, aarts
In : cotchy, stackman

In old normal, the 8 is usually pretty set at the halfway mark.

Its halfway, and we are 9th.

We need to take the best 22 in and win games.

Tigers must win 2 of the next 3.

If we wanna actually have a go at it this year we must win tomorrow.

Make no mistake this is the Doggies biggest game so far also this season.

They win they start putting themselves in a strong position, and keep us at bay to the lower reaches.

I have always thought the Collingwood failure would haunt us, but last week just took the sickness to a higher level and in turn took us closer to the edge.

Lose 2 of the next 3 and we just about go over it.

Naish has to go out no time for passengers.

We need blokes who will take a hit for the side now and weve been skirmishing and retreating trying to buy time and condense and build our forces but its nearly Alamo /Stalingrad Time.

What about running Grover with Bont, both could run with him and same size if we are desperate.

Put Short on the Wee Helmet as a defensive forward.

Short will be useless against Baily Dale or Sammy Lloyd or even worse that Gowers campaigner who played like he was Peter Bosustow or Tony Modra last year so give him a job that will help the side instead of hinder it..

Hes not physical so that will suit Jayden, and Short will have someone that he surely can outmark out body or at least spoil and put pressure on..
