There is no doubt we have a forward problem.
Look at yesterday's game and see who kicked the goals.
Without Lynch we do not have a designated FF.
Jack is only a shadow of his former self, and is only good for the odd goal or two.
Relying on our mids and wingers to kick goals and win a game is fraught with danger.
This is likely to be evident in games against better teams who will have worked that out.
For the life of me, I cannot see us making the finals this year, unless we find a forward solution, and even then, it is problematical.

Out Miller in Biggy it's time to give him a go.
We have nothing to lose.

I thought Soldo played very well, Miller in the ruck was beaten. May need Ryan to replace Miller for this week. This may be the combination we have been waiting for.
Soldo and Nan in ruck, Ryan to take over Lynch's role and ruck. Gives us options of rotating the rucks if one is not working, plus the rotation in the forward line.
We need Cumberland in (Dusty and Cumberland swapping with each other). Mansell has played well provides more grit, will compete with MJ. Can't see Banks in, particularly when Short is available. This will be the side we go to the finals.

Miller may have had the job on McGovern, in which case he did the defensive side well. And with Sicily this week he may get a similar role.

From what I saw miller was being out-marked constantly by Duggan, who had 18 disposals and 7 marks. Miller was invisible up forward and in the ruck didnt do any better.

Bradtke would need to be subbed out after 8min with the aerobic capacity needed to run up and down at this level. Ryan has sown enough to get back in when we need another tall forward/ruck.

Agree Sicily is an absolute star and worth about 6 goals to them, both stopping them and creating them.

Which will occur when Jack does the right thing.

Cannot see your evidence for this comment? He may appear to shuffle but if you watch him he consistently gets to the drop of the ball, takes marks on the wing and competes to bring the ball to the ground. I think his physical appearance belies his aerobic capabilities, as one commentator remarked "he looks like a country footballer".

Duggan had 3 intercept possessions, and 1 contested mark.
