Houli is almost totally unaccountable, so he must impact with his disposals otherwise the loose man for the opposition (either an extra at the contest or behind the ball) will hurt you but its not obvious it is Houli's man.
Ask yourself these questions about Houli game:
Why after games of 38, 37 and 27 aren't his disposals in any of the highlights in the last 3 weeks?
If Houli plays loose of half back and clocks up heaps of stats but the team gets flogged - what does that tell you?
Why has Edwards started to taking the kickouts from Q4 of the North game. (because Houli simply doesn't look and he is only interested in metres gained). Lamb is right to say he is a selfish player, as Houli knows that if he gets his stats and metres everyone sings his praises.
Once you start seeing it, you can't unsee it.
Don't get me wrong, Houli is in our best 22, but he needs to be instructed to play team first football. It is a couching thing. Right now, Houli is a law unto himself and everyone is singing praises.
Put simply, Houli doesn't impact the game and his opponent at the contest often does.
Since day 1 at the Tigers, he has been instructed to kick it long to space.
Not entirely Basher’s fault when he is executing team rules
