Changes for Dreamtime

assuming only forced out is hopper, for me its:
- Ross back in middle (seems to be his best spot)
- K-Mac on wing/fatside and Pickett on the skinny side
- NoahC in and forward
- Sonse as the sub, getting hungry

not fussed if Judd or Mullet misses (maybe give Bauer a crack? Someone with some aerial presence would be a good thing)

I can't see Pickett moving from the forward line, was the best we have seen it last week. We've finally found the right mix.

Either we pick Sonsie or Dow as a direct replacement, or we move Ross inside and bring in a wing / half back which would most likely be Banks for a debut or Clarke back into the 22.

We only had 8 playing in the 2's (again the Geelong rhetoric was that they were so impacted by injuries they could only field 7, wow 7 is so much different to 8 right!).

Sonsie, Banks, Biggy, Bradke, Green, Clarke (already in the 23), Cumberland and Bauer.

Pretty sure none of Biggy, Bradke or Bauer will be in. With only Young and Nank back, I can't see them changing the structure, so its down to the 4 I mentioned I think. Nank in for Miller if he's fully fit.

Ins: Nankervis, Cumberland (sub)
Outs: Miller, Hopper

Clarke moves into 22 and can be subbed for Cumberland if not impacting the contest

Sonsie needs a few weeks in the VFL to get some fitness/ form back. Can't cover the ground at the moment. Played half back last week too at VFL level which I found interesting

Wouldn't mind seeing Banks soon

Dreamtime at the 'G is a sellout

This match is a fully ticketed event, with no further tickets to be released. Members with general admission access who have not upgraded to a reserved seat via Ticketek will be unable to attend.

i just want biggie in.
ever since that highlight ressies reel a few weeks back.
a barrage of one grab plucks from agile leaps & ball reading.
can kick & as quick as.
He's coming along nicely, AA, with impressive athletic traits. I think he just needs to add some kilos of muscle to that frame as AFL rucks will body him aside in stoppages and marking contests when he can't use his leap.

Needs to channel Majak Daw in the gym a little, (but perhaps not in other respects).

Don's midfield is undermanned at the moment, with that said, perhaps Sonsie gets a chance as there isn't any stand out options as inclusions this week. May be as simple as Miller & Hopper out, Nankervis and Sonsie in. Prefer the club is extra cautious with Nank but doubt it

Nank said he is ready to go.

agreed leon but we said that about samson also.
i reckon he'd be unbeatable on a wing (ala richo), chopping out kick ins/outs now with dimma's snarlin fwd role.
could be a huge string to our bow.

Very happy with ins, great to see Nank back and with Dow's VFL form fully deserves his promotion. I know i have been a critic of his kicking disposal but there has been no denying his clearance numbers this year so is the obvious Hopper replacement to keep structure, (if he performs he could get a block of 6 weeks of AFL footy in Hopper's absence), these are the opportunities he just has to take.

Good luck to Dow.
I like how we've kept our structure and team balance

Miller stiff but understandable.
Looks like the back 7 are settled as no Young either

i'm hoping the magnet movers don't underestimate samson's directed winning taps (&50/50s) .
-enormous role in our turnaround
isit ridiculous to think nank could play a centre bounce/midfield role not rucking?

Geelong had both Ceglar & Blicavs in a few centre bounces last week.

Happy we've kept our structures, shows we're starting to settle. Over to you Dow, really hope he takes this opportunity over the next few weeks
