They want a priority pick so they can use it on Carlisle, a player they shouldn;t even be considering trading. They are so arrogant, why do they think they are so special that they feel they don't have to go to the draft and rebuild like every other club. They seem to think they can trade out of this. Carlisle would be a mistake, not because he's no good, but they will not even be in the mix for finals let only premierships for 5 years at least, there are too many other clubs at the moment peaking in the next 5 years for them to be any close, so when they are next in the mix, with Carlisle being nearly 24 now, he will likely be in his 30's the next time they play finals. Absolutely nuts to give up a first rounder for him when you are Carlton.

I've said before, the Dogs should be offering their first pick for him (I think they will lose tonight so before compo picks they are on 12 so could be 12-14). He would be a big improvement in their defense which is easily the dogs weakest area.

Strange strategy, lets just take all of the GWS reserves that GWS determine are not good enough for them!! Sure you find some gems, but they seem to be in the mine and digging out all the dirt and cubics in search for the diamond!!
