Will be a low scoring slog IMO. Carlton will do what many have this year and clog our forward line and rely on kicking goals on the rebound.

Need to bring the right attitude from the first bounce this week.

I reckon there will only be a few goals in it either way given we rarely flog sides as we lack that killer instinct.

Tenterhooks.

History will tell us this game is wide open , regardless of ladder positions and personal , Tigers always find a way to keep the scum in it ... To me it's a final MUST WIN !!!

sweeeeeet... we have to win Friday night now. Just got a call internal at work advising I just won 2 seats at Saturdays night Richmond Home Coming Event. hate to think we would attend this after a loss!!!!

If we lose to carlton and there is club function on, we need to make sure all players are escorted safely across tram tracks

For mine: a danger game is anything we lose to a team below 8th, hence the way I set up the March to the finals format.
All the great teams with multiple flags would regularly put away teams further down the ladder.

That's an odd comment. Quantifying whether a game is a "danger game" is done before the result is known.

Anyway, they're all worth four points. And I would argue that a game against a similarly placed team is more important - not only did we get four points last week, but GWS didn't get them.
At this point it's no skin off our nose whether or not Carlton get any.

That is defined as an 8 point game.

Danger game is one where we may get beaten by a side we should not lose too.

Every game is a danger game, but some are more dangerous than others.

The next step will be people saying 'I'd like to see Carlton do well. It'd be good for footy.' Then 'they do have a great theme song.' (This isn't true of course, unless you like theme songs that sound like strippers could strip to)

Oi! Strippers can strip to our theme song too I'll have you know.

The GWS game was definitely a danger game

With all these danger games, it would be nice if our next match against Collingwood is retrospectively labelled the Danger cup and we win it.

i'm not suggesting we're gonna lose tomorrow night, but the last time we wore a celebration guernsey and had a big post game function was that infamous centenary game against Carlton 2008 (can't believe that was 7 years ago),

To make things worse...and if i'm not mistaken...that was the same day/night Polak was hit by the tram.

Who can forget the round 15 2011 FTF celebration VS Carlton? It was the game to repay all the members who generously donated to the FTF and they got their name on the Guernsey. We got flogged by 103pts.
