Bye Bye Jack Higgins!

When Higllet did that steal, Mrs TT just laughed & said "wow how good was that"

Higgy does a lot of team things which can be missed in the heat of a game, little taps here, a knock on there, a sneaky little handpass etc. he's a very smart player.
Stephenson is a different sort of player than Higgy, I think both clubs have picked up good players, I would have loved to get Stephenson but I'm really rapt with Higlet.
I hope they both have great careers.

He is better than I thought.

2 things have surprised me. One is that he is very good overhead and the other is his ability to get to contests and accumulate. At 19 he is getting good numbers now.

That intercept was no fluke, he saw it before it happened and he instinctively knew what to do. That’s gold, you can’t teach that.

I reckon he is going to be a rover in the old style, picking up plenty of possessions and dangerous when resting forward

Better than I thought also, even after breaking all the records in his TAC junior season, I couldn't imagine him getting games in the middle, let alone being a good contributor and demanding a spot based on output..

No doubt he is going to get better, far from a finished product at 19... Amazing pick up really, couldn't be more pleased!

Absolute instinctive footballer.
Another first year player that has made us a better team.
RFC. The footballer factory

Third(?) quarter-

Jack and Higlet running goalward in very close formation. Jack with the ball. Two Hawk defenders approach. Jack has no hesitation in giving the ball to Higlet and allowing him to make his own space. GA.

Jack is a very good judge. He trusts the kid wholly. And Higlet showed why.

Prefer Higgins to Stephensen. No bias either.

Just keeps getting better.

Reputations are built in finals.
Stephensen went missing whilst Higgins had a good game.
Advantage Higglet

Just a natural footballer. Knows instinctively what to do.

Yep, upside galore. He is only 19 ladies and gentlemen.

I think he's had an amazing debut season.

How many rookies can break into a Premiership side and basically stay there?

Can play as a forward, as a mid.
Just slotted in seamlessly.
An amazing effort it has to be said.

19 games in 1st year and in a reigning Premier team, no less!

What will he achieve when he gets fitter, gets a tank?

And how funny are the interviews?
Bwuucey was talking to him in the rooms after his 1st Final and his eyes were darting around all over the place.
Nodding and acknowledging people standing behind Bwuuce.

You got the feeling would have been the same at school.
Barely noticing anything the teacher was saying!

A cracker, this kid.
Go Turbo!
