Bye Bye Jack Higgins!

Higlet and then Jack both said it was probably a throw so you can hardly blame the media and fans to go with it too.

Imagine if we won by less than 6 points. Gill the Dill would've accepted to prosecute us on Scumwood's behalf.

I hope he holds his form in the final few rounds - I currently think he is holding off Conca from getting back into the 1s on semi-finals day. Which is just a superb effort for a first year player.

His hands are impressive. Not sure if he arrived like that or being the football sponge that he is, Sheds is showing him the way.

I was as certain it was going to get over ruled.

But i think it was all clear. If he threw it up and caught it then it probably was a throw but as he threw it up and kicked it on the was ay down its fine.

That was at least goal of the year, for mine.

The kid is 5' 4", barely kicks 35m, is below average for pace and at best an insignificant athlete. Now a 19yo first-year player who has forced his way into the midfield of the reigning premier, and conceiver and executor of one of history's most brilliant goals.

Whatever he's got is pure. It's probably genius.

The video review surely only looks at the issue of whether it went over the line without being touched
If any video review detected some other act of play such as a missed free kick for too high or ya dis in the back or a throw - too late - too bad
Those things can’t be retrospectively acted on

X2. It's amazing.

If you take away the argument about whether or not it was a throw and factor in the genius of Higgins quick thinking... 100% deliberate. That amounts to goal of the year for mine. but the AFL won't allow him to win it.

Spot on.

Yeah it’s pretty amazing. The personality is overshadowing the performance.

x3.

astonishing game of footy today from a 14 gamer.

underground handballs, huge tackles, freak goals.

I think hes a black fella in a white fellas body, and a genius lumbered with cameron ling's enunciation

I heard Lyon downvibing Higlet’s stunner on radio. Absolutely no way it was a throw. Blokes lay on their backs when they get dumped and throw it in the air to kick it. Happens all the time. Arms get pinned in tackles and people throw it while the ump waits to see if the foot connects. If it misses, it’s incorrect disposal. If not, play on. Simple.
