Would you take that General?Rumours are they're offering a future second and third round pick for Higgins.

No way. Minimum would be a swap of 1st rd picks and a future 2nd. Saints made the approach to a contracted player. Pay up or jam it.Rumours are they're offering a future second and third round pick for Higgins.
No. I'd make him stay and play next year for that. He can enhance his value, or go for nothing. Which will be not much worse than what is on offer in my opinion. How about yourself?Would you take that General?
Definitely keep. He will be needed at some stage next year so will play some games - he should back himself in to keep his spot. I reckon there is a subtle industry push to under rate our players so we don't get even stronger with better picks in the draft.No. I'd make him stay and play next year for that. They are an old team. If it goes back to 20min qtrs and 23 games they will cop significant injuries. When that cliff comes .................................................Delicious.
On the AFL points system their future 2nd and 3rd picks would be worth more points than your swap proposal, however if I understand correctly Saints don't have a 2nd or 3rd round pick this year?, doubt they would want to be out of both 2nd and 3rd rounds next year in a less compromised draft so think the swap proposal may suit both parties better unless Saints hold fast on future 2nd only.No way. Was a serious op with risks but the expectation was always that he would make a full recovery if it went to plan. He did return a lot sooner than expected though, so maybe that was a factor in his numbers being a little down.I don't think Jack has come back the same player after a life threatening condition. I just hope it is physically right and fitting for him to keep playing, wherever that may be.

I think they effectively traded pick 38 and Forgarty for Higgins. bold move.Shaun Higgins has been a very good player but pick 30 is a big price for a 32 year old
Starcevich is going to be good player IMOWas a serious op with risks but the expectation was always that he would make a full recovery if it went to plan. He did return a lot sooner than expected though, so maybe that was a factor in his numbers being a little down.

Probably only Bailey (9th b&f) clearly ahead of him at present. It's great that he's in a hurry but he already has a final under his belt and 40 games in the competition's best system. Plus a GOTY...
Reckon we're being hoodwinked after a predictable lull in his development. He's contracted, St.Kilda should be required to offer overs.
Surprised he ever got droppedKicked the most creative goal I have ever seen.
Is as clean as Prestia, and has unparalleled anticipation and instincts.
Makes up for any lack of toe by being two steps ahead of everyone else.
Keep or two first rounders.
Gee thats the same description some used on here for Prestia when we were chasing him!I don't mind him going. He's definitely got some tricks but at the end of the day he's slow, short and can't kick more than 40m
Was excellent against us in the final and ended Aarts' year. I like Powell as well. Different players but I wouldn't put either ahead of Higgins on total output. Ability to find the ball in the front half rates higher. Richards has impressed at times but critics say he doesn't get enough of it, and he gets it less than Higgins.Starcevich is going to be good player IMO
Yeah, short does it all the timeGee thats the same description some used on here for Prestia when we were chasing him!
