Yer, good luck to him. Just as long as he doesn't play a starring role in a final against us, if we should happen to reach one against GWS.
 
Brett never played a single game in the VFL. AFL only since before he turned 18.

If he can walk, he'll kick 13 in the NEAFL.

He's only playing a half?

He's way too good for that level. Its a waste if time. Better off playing him out of the goalsquare in the 1's IMO
 
He woulda kicked 26 in a full game, Bris.

It is remarkable though that it is the first game Brett has played at any level other than the highest, since he was 17. And not once in that time has anyone thought that he should.

heading up to watch the Tigers on Saturday night and by the looks of it ...........I will be watching an X tiger playing to in the seconds .....1 young Brett Deledio ( GWS seconds are playing the WARM-UP MATCH)

I remember deledio saying (at the tigers) that he would never come back via the second's something about a Ferrari driving around Bathurst???

I don't think he ever actually said he WOULDN'T come back via the 2's. The Ferrari joke and Brett is something that's been trotted out a few times. I last heard it from Jack in relation to why Brett didn't have any tattoos and that time it was because 'you don't put stickers on a Ferrari.' Believe nothing you hear and only half of what you see.

Saw Jack say it last year I think, then Heard directly from Brett on an interview when asked about it, said he got it from a basketballer in NBA I think and liked it and used it, seemed embarrassed when asked about it on TV...
 
To me ANY player loses credability when they change clubs , the feeling going back to the original club must get to them .
Brett a premiership did await you at Tigerland , imagine the Tigers winning it this year and Lids is done for the year .)).
doesnt get better than that ...

Serious question... does anyone think that our climb up the ladder has had anything to do with lids leaving? Rumour has it that he created a toxic environment last season.
