Jack's lack of athleticism??? The bloke can jump on top of heads off a step.

He's not quick, but neither is he slow (he's faster than he used to be). If it drops off it won't hurt him. His endurance running is miles better than it used to be. I'll back him to play until at least 33.

Agree, Spook. Reckon Riewoldt can be a great player for the Tigers well into his thirties.

I was all for the trade and us Brexiters are now shown as correct.

Was a great player Lids but clearly limited by injury. That we got a first rounder for him this year marks me feel dirty but thankful GWS is on the receiving end

The perfect deal.

I feel no sympathy for GWS. Had enough go right, due for some hardship.

The market for players over 30 will drop dramatically now. Lot more moves like The Jordan Lewis trade.

I thought he would play 400 games.

Even after his recent injuries, is the youngest Richmond player to 243 games (his current total). Had a lead of 58 days over KB, who holds every record from 244 games onwards.

Youngest to 155 different game tallies between 40 and 243 games, including 100, 150 & 200.

Completely different athletes. One"s a freak endurance beast like Richo and the other one has to work really hard at it as he's not a natural athlete ( despite his leap )
Think Stevie J rather than Nick.

Lids was a gun.Soft tissues looks like they've got him at 30.

Easily one of our best ever Tige's.

Well, I liked Brett as a tiger. Having said that I wasn't against the trade given we got a good pick.

I'm going to let myself beleive a small fairy tale here... Brett knew he was shot and went knowing he had trade value and we'd get something in return. The ultimate sacrifice for team. What a great story that would be if true!!

I thought this at the time and posted the same thing on another forum last november, Lids is tiger through & Through and lets hope Wayne Campbell looks after us at the trade table - He is GWS's Neil Balme

Agree. The end could come quickly for Jack.

Conversely Chimp can go back at 32 and be a better version the Matthew Boyd for 3+ more years.
