I know that certain young players weren't unhappy he left. A bit cliquey.
There it is again "certain young players" ...if you're going to pot somebody name the fingerpointers.

Now now Brett22, you want people to play by those rules then you need to play by the same ones.
I'm wasn't making personal unsubstantiated attacks on a player out of the blue though, you think that is okay jungle bare!

I think it makes no difference. If people quote facts without wanting to divulge then that's their prerogative. It's up to the reader to decide the value of the comment.

But if someone demands names then they should lead by example.

"IF.... people quote facts"

Its a bit much asking posters to link their information to current players or administrators involved directly with the Club.

As has been stated, it's up to the reader to evaluate the merit of the post, but trust me this time, I was told by a Player that ALOT of people were happy Lids got traded !! I don't know exactly every name that felt that way, but I am certain it was quite a few.

Mixed feelings seeing Lids run out for the giants.

My heart said I wish he was a Tiger still but my head tells me it was a great trade

I'd miss him plenty if the year had fallen over but it's been the polar opposite. :wavey
Cotch in particular seems to have the weight of the world off his shoulders. Coincidence?
Also wonder what Lids is thinking of the Tiger resurgence in his absence..

They never got on. A perception I always had.

I always wonder if Lids didn't resent Cotchin waltzing in and getting the Captain role after he was the boy wonder at the club for so long.

Winning and losing brings out the best and worst of people. As a leader, he didn't have the answers last year, and he wasn't able to bring out his best in a tough situation.

Supporters can't jump off, but players can.

Brett did.
