How's that one-handed pick up after the Richo handball in the last quarter ? Brilliant.

yep this guy is all class, his kicking is sublime 26 disposals and "no clangers", 3 goal assists and i must say he's tackling which wasnt one of his main strengths has come to the fore, 5 tackles last nite well i thought it was 7 after watching the replay but the papers say 5.

Won some important clearances out of the middle, all up 5 clearances equal top 3 on the ground, tuck 8 and foley 6.

He is becoming the player we all hoped he would be. I must admit i thought his progression had stalled a bit at the end of last year/early this year, but he has been super impressive for the majority of the year.

Yep, was superb yet again.

lids is all class and his pace is one of his biggest attributes.
how every ith ink the best thing that lids has going for him is that he has excellent decision making under pressure and his balls skills is second to none.

when he goes and plays forward i can see in him the qualitys of steve johson for geeleng. for example that onehanded pickup and handball to matt white in the foward pocket last night was dare i say it freakish.
do u agree?

He's beginning to remind me of Luke Hodge in some parts of his game (excluding last qtr of Friday night).
Really reliable, with flashes of brilliance and a strong looking, stand-up style footballer.

I'll say it now...he'll be better than Hodge.

He will be 10x better than Hodge. Absolutely brilliant again last night, would probably be leading the B&F.

I am a big big fan of lids, a champ in the making, dont know about being 10x better than hodge as he's a damn good player, but agree with many lids is on his way to becoming a great player for the RFC.

Anyways, for those who thought the afterburners had been malfunctioning for a while, now we know why. Imagine him next season with the afterburners repaired, playing the far more rounded game he has shown this year. Man he's gonna be good.

Everytime he gets the ball he puts it to the advantage of our team. Everytime.

you can say that again, not only does he kick goals but he dishes them off too....the kick to brown = goal, the kick to *smile* = goal, the hand ball to white = goal the kick to edwards inside 50 who then kicked to bowden which resulted in a goal, he had 3 goal assists but u could mount a case that he had 4 with the kick to edwards.

Chronically and unbelievably undervalued by the football media and non Richmond public.

True but not by us though Jared Brennan.

He's rapidly becoming our best player and is putting in excellent consistent performances every week.

Played another terrific game last night.

Lids is a star; will be a real gun of the competition in the very near future. I love the way he's playing at the moment. Great overhead mark, sizzling pace, beautiful kick, great vision with the handball and adding some real steel to his game. Very excited to have him and Cotchin in the same team.

Agree. And happy for this to continue.

Everytime. Ever single time. Becoming the complete footballer. Still want to see him gut run a tag and this week v Geelong is a good chance for Deledio to take the leap, like Foley did vs Collingwood on the Friday night.
