Brett Deledio (merged)

Ive said it before an I will say it again B Deledio is the least of our worries ,a fast rising 21 year old superstar!!!

Lids was a superstar today, very proud of him. Despite what the critics are saying, I think he's been playing very well, he is just starting to raise the bar. Congrats and keep it up Lids!

If we could clone him I'd happily field a team of 21 Lids and one ruckman

Good game by Brett today.
Over the last 4 games he has averaged 30 possessions a game and he is in the top 10 in the AFL for disposals.

If he didnt play for us everyone would be all over him.

People will soon discover how good he is!

He has had 20+ disposals every game this year except for round 1.

His pace is freakish!

29 disposals, eff 83%, 3 tackles, 4 clearances, 7 contested possessions, 7 inside 50’s and 3 scoring assists.

Meh not bad!

;)

Brilliant game, imo his best in his career.

We are starting to say this every week. ;D

He was very, very good tonight. He needs to be recognized as a budding superstar of the game.

2nd quarter he single handedly changed the course of the game. It was the best I've seen him play for the RFC and highlights that he needs to become the star midfielder we've been crying out for.

We''ve got to persevere with him in the middle with the occasional break down forward instead of the other way around. He'll never learn to beat the taggers by staying down in the forward line.

Lids is on fire at the moment; in a very rich vein of form. IMO has overtaken Foley as our best mid.

All those wankers in the footy press who rave about Griffen have no idea. If Lids was surrounded by the quality players at the Dogs he'd be just about their best player.

Not to mention Murphy.

Agreed. Made Wallace's decision to start him on a wing even harder to understand. I'd also have Deledio ahead of Griffen any day. Lids wins far more of his own ball for a start.

so true. He is well ahead of griffen, but because the dogs win every week, griffens poor games/efforts/quarters are ignored and his positives talked up. Opposite for Lids.

Add to that he cleared the bal from their 50 8 times... great running today by lids
