I am not sure why everyone is jumping on this drafting talk, drafting players is an inexact science, you can try to project how high a players ceiling is as an 18 year old but sometimes players don't improve as much as expected. It is part of the whole beauty of the system, there are so many elements involved, some are physical attributes and some are mental but it is impossible to see into the future.
For every early pick that flops you see a late pick become a gun.....

Excactly, I'm sure we'd all be happy if he picked up Connors at 13 in the 07 draft now in hindsight. What a steal.

Needs a big one tomorrow. Looked good in his first year but the last 2 years have seen no improvement. It scares me this year could be one of the same. I know he is only 21 but If he dosent improve soon he could become potenial trade bait this year or the next.
C'mon lids

Don't be concerned from his performance last week - even when he plays ordinary, he still kicks a couple. Wait until at least Round 8...

You live in a fantasy world. In the last 2 years tell me how many times he has been in our best 3-4 players. it would be less than 3.

mate to finish top 5 in the B&F, he obviously has done something right.

So he kicked over 20 goals from the latter part of the year and had decent stints on the ball and back.

Im willing to wager that he has been in our best more than 3 or 4 times as u have put it, the wager do not post for 1 or 3 months take ur pic. Actually u start a dumb thread which there is already one and then u make stupid comments like trading him, one of the few in our side who can hit targets time after time.

If u are going to make comments like that show us all the stats to bak it all up.

You havent written him off ur talking about trading him this year or next, if u cant see his traits as a footballer u never will..bak to the drawing board for u mate, perhaps use crayons next time...im not wasting anymore time with you..

Re: Brett Deledio

Isn't he 21 next month?

Just seeing him named out of the forwardline gives me hope.

Perhaps you should wake up to the new foorball world, where you trade even your good players if it is of an advantage to your on-field team. stats only tell so much, it's the ablity to judge how a person plays with your own eyes is how I judge the player. Coming 5th in a team that won 3 games last year is so impressive, i mean i'm suprised he didn't make All Australian selection with the good effort.
C'mon clown you have not the faintest idea bout football, next week you will be telling me Tivendale is a chance for the brownlow. get out of the fantasy world.

mate theres only one clown here and its u, now u started this thread if u want credibilty on this site tell us why ur concerned, u say stats only tell so much stats are fact, you also mention that i should wake up to the football world, well this is to all posters on PRE do u think lids will be EVER traded.

Thats right judge a player by only ur eyes as u so adequately put it, if u did ul see what we all see.

All Australian, hey at 20 give him a chance.

I mean do u actuially go to games, do u go to watch the ressies too, ive missed 7 games in over 20 yrs so id like to think i know my team and also the up and comers...

just to let u know i can see that this is going no where with you start a thread and have no basis to bak it up...say what u like u will NOT get another reply.

you would have to be the dumbest poster on PRE, how do u go from lids to tivvas :rofl :rofl :rofl

oh yeah forgot this one too, so u think trading lids will be an advantage, please enlighten us all how trading lids would be an advantage to our team. See how silly u sound albeit without even trying...
