Too add to my comment will say that he hasnt really had a standout game this year. Wont get dropped and shouldnt be dropped, but just having a cold run at the moment.
And on Lids, played more forward tonight, think he should play 50% in the centre and 50% in forward line.

Keep bagging Patto...the poor kid taking on the "big boys" on his own...week in week out...Patto will be a star...and you Ridley will be the first I laugh at when that happens...fancy bagging Patto...yeah he has made heaps of mistakes...but can you imagine how good this kid will be with the experience he is getting now.
It's pretty ordinary that we are bagging young players like Raines and Deledio.

I think I know which will be the better player. At least there's some hope for Lids that RFC may one day recruit some players like him that actually have a modicum of skill and football nouse.

If I could only keep one player right now between Foley and Deledio...I could not think twice...I'd keep Foley everytime...the poor bastard keeps putting his body in week in week out for us...Deledio doesn't...well not in the middle anyway.

You were nowhere to be found....................what's that about !
So , here ya go.
Do we play him again next week , seeing as *smile* played another Shocker, or leave him in the 2's to get that "experience" that I keep hearing about.
Plus I'd say Kingsley is as good as gone , so that means at least 2 spots should be available on the forward line......................Time for Jack again or not.

As l've said on another thread, we've done a hell of a lot better out of our rookie choices than our top ten pix.
Delidio to me would be a star in a west coast outfit were he would have freedom to play without the restrictions of a tag
but in a tish team like Richmond he attracts the tagger,and if you're not an in and under but an outside player you will be shown up.
Delidio, despite his rising star award, still has a lot to prove.

I agree that Jack shouldn't have been dropped after 1 Game , even though I think you have far loftier expectations of the Kid than I do. Hardly a fair assessment from the time he was given vs the Bummers , play him and that means leaving him on the ground, not the pine, and let's see what the Lad can do.
I'm getting Vertigo from watchimg Blokes like *smile* etc , going back and forth every second week , stick with one or the other for cryin' ou loud , piuck a player and give 'em at least 2 games to show something.

See your point about Lid's , Yesty's game did nothing to enhance his rep for going missing when we need him the most.........................He's gotta get CONSISTENT , nothing is more for frustrating than knowing a bloke has incredible skills but can't seem to put back to back to back games together.
I'm not expecting 30 kicks , 15 handballs a game , but what is totally unacceptable is a performance like Yesterday , just get in the Mix , every week.
A bit hard when you are tagged all game, at one stage he had 2 on him. He was moved all over the ground in an attempt to get free, but the Lions stuck like glue all night - why? Because last week he was best on ground (and should have won the award grumble grumble....)
