What about 4?
He has had 3 hauls of 6 and one of 9. 75 goals in 40 games for a 20 year old is a very good effort.

Outstanding statistics. The Car Salesman got it wrong.

perhaps the question should be asked if the young bloke is enjoying his football....body language says a lot...

to me he has been talked up a bit perhaps we were hoping for some superstar in the making....well perhaps he aint.....no guarantee in that happening....

perhaps we as supporters we hanging onto some fanciful notion that after such a drought of great players we might have snagged one.....

time will tell.....just as all the hysteria about a certain hff from a certain club reaches to the point of absurdity.....

His bearing is almost tragic, t80.

He has the job of Atlas without the shoulders for it (at this stage).

I wonder if our team can use this 'milestone' as inspiration for victory, like every other team seems to against us. :spin

From here on...you are going to be a STAR.

p.s Don't forget that hardball get...EVER !

Sheesh, a lot of you blokes must have been terrific footballers yourselves to be hanging it on Brett like that. I must admit that his development this year has been disappointing but he is one of the very, very few supremely skilled, players that we have on our list and will be an outstanding player for years to come. Whilst it would have been nice to see him stand up under the pressure of last week, I think there are many more senior players who deserve this bagging ahead of Brett. He is the least of our worries....

Nicely put, they'll be shouting out Brownlow odds for him come Sunday morning if Brett has a standout game.

Gotta love the internet.

It needs to be highlighted that Deledio has made a grand total of 7 tackles in 6 matches this season.

That's pathetic by anyone's measure.

Yep, I mentioned this aspect of Lids game after the practice match at Wonthaggi. Nil tackles and nil defensive effort.

He has a long way to go in the hardness stakes.

Brett will be a good player, sure, but there is a lot of water to go under the bridge before we can assume he will be a star.
To me thats all hope.
In 49 games he has yet to be a clear and match winning best on ground and on Sunday when the opprotunity arose to see
which of our youngsters had some character,Brett was not among them.
For a unanimous Norwich rising star he still has much to prove

It's all very well to suggest he's going to be a gun midfielder and perhaps we need to keep persevering for a while yet but perhaps..just perhaps TW knew what he was doing when he played him off the HBF.

Amen to that - been saying it all year. Also, he's possibly the only guy terry can rely on to push fwd AND be able to get back when or if we break down going fwd. We've been contending with a lot of traffic going the other way............................

lol i dont know whether its been mentioned in another thread. but great effort by the guy, 50 games this week! a bit unfair that it gets over shadowed by the controversy at the club, but oh well, stick it up em brett! congrats! :clap
