Apparently one of the nicest blokes ever, and isnt fazed by being an AFL player. Heard it first hand.

he told you he is "one of the nicest blokes ever"?

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

he's our selwood brother -

... only beter 'cause he's not a selwood brother!

(psst.. leadership material)

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

Thought Ellis was very good today, played with composure beyond his years. Won a couple of one on one contests you would not expect of such a young player. A very good pick, I hope we can get a couple like him at years end.

Yep really liked his game today. Will be better for the experience - cant wait to see him next year. Looks to be a good sort of player for the tiges

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

Getting better week by week. Thought he might struggle to ever be more than a solid, core footballer (nothing wrong with that as a pick #15) but as he shows me more I can see him being much more than that.

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

he has been really impressive all year but the last two games have impressed me the most....the kids got all the signs of being something very special

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

Brandon deserves a Rising Star nomination but dont they usually nominate players from a winning side?

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

He is a really gutsy player.
Both he and Steve Morris are prepared to attack the ball and play direct football, instead of mucking around on the backline.

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

David King talks about him not having a stand out skill. I saw it today. It’s being clean in high pressure games. One touch footballer who wins one on one contests.

I already believe that if we get to finals, this bloke will stand up. It was hot today and he was superb for a first year footballer.

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

Is getting better as the year goes on when you'd expect him to tire. Big fan of Ellis.
