Doubt he'd be traded now. He's a great clubman and a ripping good bloke. He's been a part of the reason for our trade success recently. Lots of work put in helping get some mates to the Tiges. His job isn't finished yet.
That's all true, General. But you never know. If he finds himself overtaken by others, there will be plenty of suitors.

He's an outside runner with a big kick.
Suited our earlier free running bruise free game plan.
But struggles with our pressure style.

Can't agree with this. He finished 11th in our BnF last year and was 1 vote away from top 10.

I like Brandon but he's been poor this year.

Some old bad habits creeping back into his game.

He's shirked a quite a few marks this year and have all resulted in turn overs.

This. May struggle to get back in.

Trade bait. If we're to lose a premiership player, Brando won't hurt given we have Short, Menadue and Markov ready to take his spot, and Naish to come. We'd get a decent pick given his rep.
Culture wise it’s probally not a great thing trading out a Premiership player still in his prime, however as a business decision his probably the player with the highest trade value that we could cover with no real problem. I’d imagine Brando would command a puck around what we got him for, I think players like Short, Menadue, Markov, Bolton and maybe even Naish have higher ceilings then Brando and they could all play a similar role, however as we speak he still has to be rated a much better player, a lot of football still to be played in the defence of the cup.

I suppose the other thing is if Lynch comes we are going to need to get some cap space some how.

Put his body on the line in the Geelong final against Dangerfield. Won some respect off me and other observers. He’ll be back.

He did, but it's not his natural game to do this week in week out. Personally I don't think he's a great backman. Running up and down the wings creating space is his best spot.

x3. Our list has improved since last year with new recruits and improvement from other fringe players. Too many inconsistent efforts, too many rainmaker kicks, too much sideways. Depth, and on the block.

This. He isn't classy enough to be allowed to keep his hands clean. He isn't soft, he is one of our better contested marks when he wants to be, but game is built on crazy relentless pressure and that doesn't come naturally to him. To be a mostly outside player, with any side let alone ours, you have to be classy, ah la Lids or Joel Bowden. Our side now, our classy players are naturally physical, and our non-classy role-playing players are all also naturally physical.

If everyone goes 'wow isn't that amazing' when he lays a bump on Danger, and I did, that says it all.

Yes, the question of damaging the culture must be taken seriously when considering trading out a popular clubman like Brando undoubtedly is. But if he struggles to get back in the side, he might look elsewhere of his own volition.

It might be his best spot, but it's not best for the team for him to play there. That's why he went to defence.

On that premise it looks like it's not the best now for the team for him to play in it at all.

Late change or rested I wonder

1st emergency usually doesn't play in VFL if VFL game is before AFL game but this week it appears we have two emergencies who didn't play VFL.

Have you ever seen Brando take a pack mark? A one on one contested mark, sure (very rarely) He isn't anywhere near one of our best contested markers.

I said better not best. I've seen him take great contested marks under pressure, but he frustrates me because he can do but he doesn't do it enough.
