Signs a 2 year deal. Nek Minnut returns to regular form. The RFC are absolute suckers

I laughed. It is pretty common for the Tigers.

A lot of disposals but a massive 10 turnovers today. Hard to know how to judge his game today.
I think you have judged his game tiger.
His kicking out from a point was poor in the last quarter.
Geelong benefitted out of three of his kick outs.
Thought he was good in the first half.

Agree with this.

All I noticed about his game was his continual turnovers when not under pressure. Hope he isn't turning back into 'the Ellis of old' and today's game is just an aberration...

Thought he was in the positives for the day.

508 metres gained and ran all day.

Not great but good. And straightlined some ground balls.

It always baffles me why your poorer decision makers often seem to take the kick outs.

Bring back Scotty Turner!

60m bombs that were nearly always to advantage.....

useful game today. stood hard in contests, worked hard to get 3rd man up
a huge improvement to his game this year

Was unusually pretty quiet disposal wise. Was he playing a specific role?

Possibly, but copped a head knock and sore shoulder from Dangerfield in a gutsy contest. Off the field for a while.

I'd given up on Ellis. I was wrong. Not on last night's effort, which was just useful, but based on the year's work. And I reckon there's more improvement left in him.

That clash happened right in front us. The speed at which they hit was unbelievable. When you see and hear how hard that was, it's staggering how people think this game is soft.

May be good we have a week off. His shoulder could use it from what I hear. He'll be sore for a few days. Didn't help his game last night.

Yep, quiet game for him after getting crunched but he still stood up when he had to.

Good to see him doing the hard gritty stuff for the team last night. Probably doesn't come naturally for him but he's had a harder edge all season.
