Brandon Ellis

His kicking has gone so far backwards its unbelievable. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that its due to fatigue from his gut running, but quite simply it has to be better than what it currently is.

We know he can play much better, maybe complacency has set in. Needs to find his past form as at his best he is brilliant.

I don't think it's complacency, on the Talking Tigers podcast he was almost a bit overcritical of his form. Down on confidence a bit is all imo.

his errors stood out in a solid team performance. still getting the ball but he has lost some composure.

Very much a mixed bag from him recently. He does make some very big errors.

opposition paying more attention to him. Not allowed the space so he is more hurried in his disposal.
Will still get off the leash and hurt, just not for an entire game.

Not his best game but he's still contributing. Better a form slump now than later in the year!

He'll come good.

Yes he will. How much better will we be then? The best of Ellis - the strong brave marks, the tackles, the long kicking, the long goals - we haven't seen that for a while. It'll be great to see all that again.

Just saw the stat on game day that he is 20th in the league for effective disposals

he is not at his best, but the criticism of him is over the top.
i wonder if people cant tell the difference between Ellis and Hunt, so they blame both for any errors made by either.

They do look very similar. I often have to see the number on the back before I can tell the difference.

Just going is Brando.

Nice piece of play to intercept the Crows handball and run toward 50 then butchers the ball to Dusty. He followed up and kicked the goal, thing is I feel more confident of him hitting a target kicking across his body. He is kicking with cement boots ATM.

Not many tackles either.
