Ben Lennon

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Lennon is more than good enough to be in this team.

Hell if it was up to me he would be in the first 15 picked.

Elite talent with plenty of raw material to work with, kicks goals has great game sense, ball handling and excellent decision making, that gather while under pressure and one handed snap than ended in the Mcintosh goal was a thing of beauty.

Not sure why Ellis is so loved, while Lennon gets so criticized .

They have similar flaws, they struggle to run out games, but it will come.

What I like about Lennon is that he rises to the occasion, seems to love the big stage.

Leysy hasn't been a fan, but will say one thing he's a damn fine kick and a one grabber.

More than most fitness will be the key for Ben's career.
I fear for Leysy's career if it requires the use of mathematics.

He does seem to have that temperament, doesn't he. Of which we need more not less.

As said previously - I think he's worked on his bulk and strength over the last two years - his aerobic fitness will improve in time.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Loved the emotion after his second goal. Knew he nailed it as soon as it came off the boot.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Cameos. Looks composed. Has class. Building

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Really liked when he had the ball. Was also really good when he couldn't take the mark, seemed to always manage to bring the ball to ground and then compete. Doesn't get a stat for that but really important contests.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Very strong mark. The more I see of him the more he reminds me of Deledio (minus the pace).

Unlucky to be subbed imo. Was playing well.

Didn't mind that, the kid deserves a rest after playing the last few (two?) weeks. He looked happy on the bench too.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

I'm most pleased in the way he's contesting. Didn't think he had that competitive nature in him based on what id seen. Great to see as he has the skill

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

He better stay in the team despite being subbed!

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Ripper effort tonight. Stood out with his skills. Will be a bit of a beast in a few years too when he really fills out. Good frame and doesn't go to ground.
