Great hands, competed super in the air
Yes, many times when out of position he halved the contest. Never outmarked. Really pleasing game.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Along with Lambert keeps improving week by week. Even his mistakes (Lid's 4th goal) are coming up roses. Carey was definitely a fan tonight.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

He was really impressive tonight. He's looked to develop a hunger for the contest. He also has skill which can never be in too much supply.

Needs to stay in the team; certainly ahead of Newman.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

quality opposition bring out the best in quality players while poor players wilt - he has proved himself well against Hawks and Freo.

Think he has almost cemented his spot in the side now for the rest of the year and looks like his stint in the VFL has worked.

credit must go to the VFL coach, clearly he knows how to develop our kids.

but, yes Lennon was good. he doesnt seem to be in a lot of contests, but he does well in those he gets to. particularly one-on-one.

A quality which cannot be underestimated.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Been a real surprise considering the poor reviews the VFL watchers were giving him. Proving to be very good overhead.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

slotted in seamlessly - like part of a jigsaw...

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Was very good, needs a bigger tank to play 4qtrs at that intensity, was very good though, loving his work

And showing a lot of courage in the contest, which was another knock on him from some of the VFL watchers.

For sure CTT. Looking like he has plenty of attributes that will make up for him lacking a yard.

I really want to see he and C. Ellis play a few games together.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Footskills and composure (apart from that fumble that Lids scored off) have stood out.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Ads some much needed class in that forward half, if he keeps working hard an dosent get ahead of him self, could be huge for us a midsize marking sharp shooter

Perhaps the VFL coaches were spot on and Dimma right to make him earn his spot because it appears his workrate is going right up.
Thought he was terrific last night. His skill level is adding much needed class. A clear point of difference in many contests.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Is he enough of a player to make chasing a motlop a lesser priorit?

Morris ahead of Lennon all year, what a joke that was.

would you consider that maybe Lennon wasnt ready 3 months ago and the time spent in the vfl has improved his game?

Totally different type Baloo, goal kicking is the only common thread, like comparing Rioli to Gunston

I'd take Gunston.

Yeah, fair enough. I'm just hoping we have some backup in case Motlop is a no goer.
