Ben Lennon

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Players take time to adjust to AFL level. There is no point playing them for a week, then dropping them. Needs a half dozen games on the trot at least.

As to his defensive efforts, its the same thing. Takes a while to work out where to run too ect.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Another good game by Lennon. I am Extremely comfortable when he has the ball in his hands and is taking a shot on goal.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Should teach some others how to kick for goal

Yep one of the very few who has a clue what he's doing in that area.

Hope he doesn't get infected by the mental midgets at club and get the yips like most of the team.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Never had a problem kicking for goal.

Dobbed a couple of rippers against the Dees last year.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Needs to be used as a hit up goal kicker for now with the dearth of relable goal kickers.

Lennon Deledio Knights and Edwards in the forward half is much more reliable in front of the sticks than the set up weve currently got.

Question is ............... Can the Tigers hold on long enough to get Sheds and Knights in to be able to make the difference??

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Did the percentage things all day.

Was really good at gets dangerous. Knows how to make his man accountable to him. Should play the next month.

Bye Morris.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Oozes class. Just not totally in senior footy headspace just yet. Keep in side.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

A bloke playing his 10th game splits the middle..

The so called leaders miss.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Even more unusual is why pick Lloyd if Lennon is to be the mid size forward. Given we don't have a decent small forward, we may as well play another genuine midfielder like a Conca and just keep resting our talented midfielders through the forward line.

Lennon should be persevered with to see if he can be our Breust in time.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

a positive from yesterday....and at least he kicked straight to, when our loved leaders, cotchin ,jack and dusty missed pretty simple basic shots....lennon plays every game this season....cant wait to bring in corey ellis who is also a beautiful kick..knights..another beautiful kick and edwards and conca.....gee,who do we drop ?

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

I've looked at his deficiencies and yesterday was the type of team an game that dosent suit his strengths so too pop up with a couple of goals and have impact is a good sign

Lack of cattle is why. Conca is not available (I'm not yet convinced on him anyway) but if the likes of Lambert can continue his progress as another midfielder then when Edwards comes back I think that's exactly what will happen, more forward time from our resting mids. Saying that, in today's footy, there's not a lot fo rest to be had even in the forward line.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Now that he's in the side, it's purely a matter of continuing to push the games n work rate into him. Showed again he's got the required skills n nous of a good player, he'll come on leaps n bounds with continuity of work.
