"Gifted"? You mean he worked hard to get into a position which forced his opponent to take his eyes off the ball in order to block his run, right?Tigers2011 said:The goals were good, albeit one gifted via an umpiring decision. Still needs to attack every contest. Was disappointed with a few half hearted efforts today. Still give him a couple more games to see what he can do.

Yep. And if and when he does play 150 plus games (and I'm backing him in for it now) it wont matter that he might have been held back a bit way back in seasons 2014-15.Bullarto Tiger said:This boy has got talent. He may be a little slow to develop/mature than others, yet he will get there in the end, particularly after another pre-season under his belt, and when he does we will be mighty pleased that he's wearing the Yellow and Black. Could well be a 150-gamer for RFC.

In fact it might be seen than as having been a smart move back in the day and to have actually contributed to his long career.
Yep, no harm in letting our young players do a proper footballing apprenticeship in the magoos, as they should. Get the fitness, develop the bodies, learn the positioning n running patterns, gain the experience n work ethic required to perform consistently at senior level. All in a competition that has other youngsters, some experienced AFL players and a bunch of handy part timers all mixed in together. Rather than shoving them straight into elite level n hoping they survive.Tenacious said:Yep. Agree, Morris imho does more harm then good running around in that forward line, Lennons smarts produced those goals, all one on one wins not dragging his opponent into a contest with Jack...pretty clear that everyone sees his talents and his weaknessesSt Kevin said:Got into better spots, offered more and finished better than Morris, Newman, Gordon and Lloyd have done all year.
I've been critical of him, but he is clearly so far ahead in terms of class compared to the aforementioned that he must play every game to end the year.
