Ben Lennon

Gets negative points for his offensive game which is where his value is to the team set up. Did think he did his part in the tackling and defensive pressure though this may have been a result of being second to the ball

When r u gonna see if he's up to it or not? Jlt def. maybe even first few games. Give him confidence give him a decent go. If he fails at least u can say we gave him every opportunity. We don't do this enough. I hate the one week in one week out theory. Give him a proper go thenu can say well he's no good. He was disappointing tonight but a few more games should be given.
This. Give him the 3 weeks in the JLT and see.

Got destroyed in a 1 on 1 in the centre after which Adelaide goaled. Went to ground so quickly when lent on. Would love to see this guy do well but not sure its going to happen. Needs to play all the practice games cos he won't hold down a spot in the 1s atm.

Give him a few more chances. He has ability. Just needs to put in 100% effort and hopefully can click.
Agree.
Give him more time I say.
I enjoy watching a player in black & yellow who can actually kick the pill.
Geez, we hand out contract extensions galore to spuds, why not give Ben all the time he needs?

Yep, give him every practice match n hope he somehow finds something to show the coaches n fans.

Not looking very promising after last nights game though, just couldn't get near anything.

He was awful last night but needs all 3 games. If he's as bad in the next 2 then he has zero chance of lining up against Carlscum (unless he thinks the Northern Blues are Carlscum).

Me too, but you dont want to look away or you might miss it.

Just saw the replay, geeze he is a soft player. Its useless being a good kick if he gets brushed aside in the marking contest and can't win his own ball. My least favourite richmond player player on the list by a long way, but I still hope he eventually comes good. I cant see it happening though

Are you allowed to wear roller skates on the ground? Because he the slowest moving footballer ive ever seen.
It is unbelievable how slow he is in chasing for the ball or the opposition.
Only richmond would hold on to a player that wanted to leave (twice)
Ive wouldve paid him out his $8.50 and sent him on his way.

Another top class draft selection to match ellis, conca, griffens, elton, banik

he got destroyed by troy menzel, who is arguably, the softest player in the AFL.

that was pretty much The End of my hopes, unfortunately

I held high hopes for Lennon. Thought he was going to be a very good addition to the list.
Didn't contribute much on Friday night. He needs to play the remaining practice matches to see what he has to offer the team. If he doesn't step up over the next couple of weeks then he is going to struggle to break into the seniors.

Gets a reprieve for me for Friday.

Pressure is obviously on him if he wants to be playing in Round 1.

Think Dimma was experimenting with a quicker line up with Butler, Rioli and Castagna playing the majority of the game and that the FF role doesn't suit Lennon.

Lennon is more of a HFF for mine. Needs room to move for him to better utilise his marking on the lead.

Some vision of Lennon off the ball on Friday has emerged..
