Was back in the day Easy, but listen to all of the coaches now, and there's no such position any more :-(

I think if Jack is injured during the season (touch wood), then Lennon is the logical replacement.

Height might be his only issue, although from memory Tim Membrey is an identical height (?). The more I think about it, that is exactly who Lennon should look to emulate.

True, but Membrey has a rather large tank

Has the class and the smarts. Reckon he would have made a difference in that 2015 EF debacle had he have played.

He certainly couldn't have gone any worse than Griffiths who barely troubled the statistician.
I didn't have a problem with him being dropped though as he had only kicked one goal in his last six games before the elimination final against the Roos.

Apparently Timmy has a good opinion of himself so if it's true Ben does as well then he maybe should have a chat with Membrey.

He is such a horrible footballer at this level. Simply can't even half contests.

Some good judges have liked him from hid draft years.

Never saw it then - Can't now.

In fact he'll be average at State league level. Good bush footballer once the plays slows right down though.

yep. bust. Best we can hope for is a couple of OK cameos as a depth player, this year only that is

I don't know if you can even say he was bad tonight because he didn't even get near the ball to be bad!

At least Lennon knows where he stands. If he can't cement a spot this year, and it certainly is a possibility, his career is over.

Is just that sort of player that will impress one week, then disappear the next. Not sure he will ever be a consistent performer.

Not playing in a forward line when you don't have power to create space or endurance to find it on long runs.
Still think his only chance at the moment is as a back flanker who takes kick outs and is the guy you try to work the ball through but after training all summer in the forward line it will be Punt Road for him most likely.
