Ben Lennon

Well if he is worth anything we'll see it this year. Its amazing how a player without a contract can suddenly find something

Not a massive fan, does have talent though, good hands, great goal sense, ball is in you court

and class CC, he has class, he has been lacking a work effort but hopefully that has changed

He's just up himself that's all.Huge kick in the ass to him with no one interested in him last year and now he's apparently fit and looking good so let's see what he's got.

Really hope Ben can make it, with Griff being inconsistent and Rioli being a jet, but only second year we really don't have much firepower other than resting mids.. Lloyd is extremely useful and smart around goal, lets see if he has gained some speed with his continued fitness improvement.

Obviously we all hope Shai and Stengle make it however being their first year I cant see them making any more of an impact than Daniel last year which was only approx. 10 or so goals..

there was a game last year, or the year before, in the mud, when young Ben grabbed hold of everything. he kicked 5 first quarter points I think. I remember because I backed him for the most goals.

anyway, he went on a heavy track rampage. Is that because everyone is slow in the wet? I dunno, but he showed a fair bit that night.

Its not outrageously crazy to expect he could become a 40 goal forward.

Rd 22 2015. Against Essendon. Wet all night. Only bloke on the field that could mark the ball.

Got the rising star nomination that week. We played the bye against North reserves the next week and then Dimma dropped him for the final the week after so he could re-institute the magnificent Conca.

He got dropped after playing the North reserves because he was timid, and the Essendank game was his only good one in a month.

True Taz, he'll get opportunities this year, it's up to him to cement another contract.

Is he TD ? I've not met the bloke , is it just a bit of a myth or fact ?

Remember that game.

He marked the ball because he was either chest marking or double grabbing, which is the correct way to mark the ball in the wet.

Everyone else was trying to one grab it.

My memory is saying he clunked a couple T-shirt. I could be wrong though.

Its interesting, cause mud-runners are usually in and under blokes.

If Young Ben is slow, with no tank, but can mark and kick, thats a full-forward in the old language isnt it?

Was back in the day Easy, but listen to all of the coaches now, and there's no such position any more :-(

I think if Jack is injured during the season (touch wood), then Lennon is the logical replacement.

Height might be his only issue, although from memory Tim Membrey is an identical height (?). The more I think about it, that is exactly who Lennon should look to emulate.

Has the class and the smarts. Reckon he would have made a difference in that 2015 EF debacle had he have played.

Not built for today's game. Great hands, great kick, slower then a Galapagos Tortoise
