Except listed on the website as 188cm. Not sure where the 190cm comes from!? (Unless his vibrancy has led to a 2cm increment?)

:spin
Yes the RFC website does show 188 but Wiki says 190..."Ben Lennon is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League. Wikipedia - Born: 5 July 1995 (age 21 years) Height: 1.9 m Weight: 79 kg."
Perhaps it was a round-off to 1d.p., or he's grown 2cm in past year or did Ben edit the entry himself? A mystery...

It's a myth Lenno's form was good leading into EF in 2015.

From what i could find the below are stats from last 3 games leading to final:

RND GOALS PLAYER RATING
23 0 45
22 0 78
21 1 26

Happy to be corrected.

My eyes didn't decieve me in those games and what did Conca and Griffiths do that was better than Lenno - nothing!

When did he get his Rising Star nom?

Fair enough argument tigerdave, got a rising star performance amongst 2 poor games it's just that I remembered the bad and you the good. Yep Conca and Griff did zilch!

The stats you can shove up your jumper Lennon will play round 1
Hi gutfull, discussing Lenno's stats from the end of 2015 was just throwing up a counter argument as to whether his form leading into the 2015 EF was good. As for round 1 this year, I posted what i thought would be my round 1 line up last week and had Lenno H/F so we have a bit of common ground in that regards.

watched the RFC highlights - still a double grabber - two touch marks. Not sure if this is a flaw in his game but he does not have clean one touch hands. One Feb trial is not setting my expectations into over drive.

to be considered at any point in his career has maybe better than the bont, means the kids got some talent.

Agree mate, whilst Lynch is a good type for Lennon to work towards, it's just not realistic.

Lynch earns his dollar from being the fittest bloke on the list running 150m loops from goals square to half back then back again.

He gets on the end of the chain through sheer workrate.

Lennon will never ever have that tank. He is at the absolute bottom end of aerobic capacity. It's just his makeup.

He might occasionally get you the occasional 3 goal bag with limited touches.

Best assets - clean hands overhead and a nice hoof - little else. Needs to be as good as Mark Lecras to make it.

Best comparison = Arryn Siposs.

You beat me too it, I was about to make the same points

Lennon 188cm / Lynch 192cm
Lynch is faster
Lynch has better agility
Lynch has a bigger tank
Lynch has a better work rate / ethic

Lennon is a better mark
Lennon has a better kick
Lennon has a bigger head & Higher opinion of himself

Very different players

That was when they were 15 , Alot changes in their last year before getting drafted

The Bont become a beast in his 12-18 months prior to being drafted, Lennon will never be anywhere near the Bonts league

A lot of nostradamus calls on here. He will never be this or that???

I wouldn't write him off as being something special just yet.

I don't care if he is ahead of himself or not, he is one of the best kicks in our squad along with Shorty and Silk.

He's not just a good set shot but good around the ground too.

His delivery would be perfect into the forward line.

Play him on a wing with a license to go forward.

Play Corey on a wing with a license to go back.

I think he is more in the mould of Jamie Elliot than any other player mentioned.

Elliot probably has greater acceleration than Lennon.

My expectations are low at this stage - I will be happy if he can first cement himself as best 18 rather than be a first round pick flop. Anything more is upside

lennon is a pea heart who walks around thinking he is king *smile*. will be lucky to still be on a list next year no other club wanted him another first round dud pick by richmond to add to tambling/fiora/griffiths/corey ellis/conca
