This generally Happens when you watch him play (not on tv but live) and see him not chase,Tackle , Defend and give a flying F when ball is not in his area

Or when you go watch him train and see just how sh!t he really is !!

In his little pr exercise he mentions that he has been doing an extra 4 sessions a week and busting a gut and will bring "vibrant" to a club

Well Day 1 and he is the worst player at training and cant run or sprint any better than Relton , Give me a break !!

Way under-done for that Geelong game and should never have been picked. I seem to recalll him laying some tackles before he ran out of gas.
I understand the weaknesses and personality traits etc - but one training session..?
People are becomung obsessive about him. Watch some cricket or something. Maybe that is the problem.

Did you ever watch KB train..?

All I am saying is that it's one photo which can be interpreted more than one way.

It's up to him now.

2 weeks ago I saw him running back from the tan across the swan street bridge with 2 barbells in his hands. The kid is obviously putting in. That was before official training started.

Agee with this. Give the kid a chance to get fit over the pre season.

It's frustrating alright.
Season 2016 can be seen as a poor one due to missing pre season with 'glandular fever' but I'd seen some similar traits the season prior too.
This lad is fast running out of excuses and time. My sense is he won't make it.
Had major hip surgery the year before too. Hasnt had a run at it yet during preseasons.

Agree.

Some of the posts on here have been embarrassing. Almost barracking for him to fail.

If Dimma gives an opportunity and continuity I think he can have a good year.

Is it true he's now as fat as Conca?

Very good contested grab and one of the best kicks going around. I'm still on. His attitude stinks but he's a young FIGJAM. He'll learn. Hopefully at Richmond.

I would like to formally welcome you to Lennon Island.

I don't think on PRE's there's been a greater whipping boy.

Not possible. Doesn't have the Italian gene pool to have the mega thighs.

May I introduce you to Mssrs Pettifer, Tambling, Polo, Houli, JON, Hughes, Conca as an entree?

Unlike them, Lennon has asked to be traded twice, has yet to do anything of note on the park, nor did they write a blog saying how vibrant they were.

He's at least putting his head down and doing some work to fix things and give himself a chance. But biggest whipping boy. Puh-lease!

Its only a couple of blokes having a crack, one who went to training and didn't like what he saw, in fairness he has bagged Lennon from word go...

I agree with others, let the bloke do a pre season and hopefully has a run at it rather than injuries and lets see how his season pans out..

Lambert, Batchelor, Houli, Grigg, B Ellis, Lennon, Conca, Shankwards, Morro, Buckets Hampson, the list is compelling and makes for poor reading no wonder this club is a near do well at best.

I can't let it go. I'm such a pedant, I make myself sick sometimes.

The term is "ne'er do well" which is an old English abbreviation of "never do well"

definition:
1. an idle, worthless person; a person who is ineffectual, unsuccessful, or completely lacking in merit; good-for-nothing. adjective.
2. worthless; ineffectual; good-for-nothing.

Which means by accident, you pretty much nailed it! :)

I reckon if you look back at the last 10-15 pages of this thread there are only a couple of us defending him. Potshots galore. Hopefully for our sake these posters will have egg on their faces this time next year.

Most detractors are annoyed with his self-inflated ego and desire to leave the club. He thinks he's too good for us so fine, off you go son.

But he does redeem a little himself with the vibrancy he brings to the club.

I assuming Dan Jackson is the main dish in this meal. Gus, McGun and Hamster the desserts

Do you recall a player by the name of Daniel Jackson who you bagged relentlessly and mercilessly for his whole career? Jacko Dyer Medalist.
