Ben Lennon

or a plea that finally he hits pre season hard. focus on sprints and endurance and that he can deliver Richmond some good football in 2017. A good 2017 can make him a " hot target" this time next year with some big offers. Knuckle down, get fit and deliver in Yellow and Black.

He's already said he wants out of Richmond.
Nothing in that article gave me any confidence he wants to stay with the RFC and 'knuckle down'.

lol at how conca has become the mentor and psychologist in the rehab group. No wonder we want to keep him on.

Reckon Figgy has got a rude shock as to his real value in the AFL market.

Not many clubs value a lazy slow flanker with a very inflated opinion of his ability and who can't get much of the pill.

I know I've laboured the point and apologies for that, but anyone who watches the last Q against Geelong, regardless of fitness, would not want to pay much for Ben.

Maric is now a playing coach.

Conca is the playing psychologist.

With the drop in membership and crowd numbers, these small savings will all add up.

Agree 100%. He was embarrassing. Didn't put in.

Clubs that know what they are doing don't ignore that stuff.

Understand the Conca 2 year deal now. Makes perfect sense.

But seriously, what a woe is me mindset/article. He's had half the obstacles many AFL players face.

Such courage - Not.

Come on mate. He's gone a whole 3 years without giving up his dream of playing AFL. He's made of real stern stuff ::)

Interesting he mentions he believes he has a lot to offer Middle/forward so naturally Hardwick played him down back. Bit sooky to perhaps crack the sads with that but super coach does not believe in pure forwards

RFC do. Pick 12 we value that.

Still think there is a number of things that don't add up to me with Ben, and this article sought of endorses the negative view. As for poor Reece think you boys are being a bit harsh on the guy. I could certainly see Conca putting an arm around Benjamin and helping him through the tougher times, he's that sought of guy. Conca Cuddles and all.

Yes well it's pretty clear that the L platers in our football department have a very different rating system for football talent than the successful clubs in the AFL.

I just find it odd that he says he wants stability. Isn't he contracted for 2017 with us? That's stable isn't it?
