Sometimes they turn it around. 20 years ago the "Ben Lennon" was called Justin Murphy. Went to have a long career with Carlton, Essendon and Geelong.

It may happen but I don't care, he bent the club over with his contract negotiations and now is leaving like a spoiled child. These are the guys who have problems accepting reality.

Agree. And like the swap for Witts.

Totally agree...the way he seems to carry on is unreal particularly when his highlights reel from two seasons consists of three marks and two goals

If we don't get what we would like for him then we keep him - still contracted for next year.

He may well turn out alright and want to stay thereafter or may still want to be traded - his value may increase or decrease again.

Lets not trade him just because he requests it and take unders for him.

keep him for next year and play him at full back in the reserves just to spite him.

that is not spite, just a usual Hardwick move for a guy that looks like a forward.

Just something about him, even the footage with the other lads playing silly games/events for the olympics, just don't like the kid, comes across as a massive fig jam

Sounds like a flog. Hope we get something good for him.
Sounds like a prima donna. He may find out when he gets traded elsewhere (for a whole lot less than we used on him, no doubt) that he isn't as good as he thinks he is.

For me you only have to look at him to see he looks arrogant and entitled, though looks arent everything, but honestly it wouldnt suprise me.

Like the worst kind of kid who gets a full scholarship to a private school for football, think the stereotypical jock from revenge of the nerds. Is told he is awesome enough times he believes it.

Carlton have pick 41, that will be their opening gambit, we need to try and squeeze another downgrade in. eg, pick 30 for pick 23.

Yep pick in the 20s. Otherwise keep him/make whoever cough up a decent pick as he's contracted.

Some will say he won't be worth much next year but all the same if we ship him off for a poor return this year.

I hope we don't bend over on this one. If the blues want him a pick in the 20s thanks.

That dud Jed Anderson got the Hawks a pick in the teens for christ sakes. Freeman also.

Spot on. Lennon has at least shown more promise than JA this time a year ago. Freeman has hardly ever played much even at VFL.
