You'd be happy with that... I guess ;D

I have to laugh at those who say we have nothing to lose.
NOTHING is for free and this former Brownlow medalist is damaged goods.
Let's say Cuz comes to Richmond and for all intensive purposes is a starting midfielder and integral to our lineup.
Then 1/2 way through our season he gets tested for drugs and comes up positive and gets kicked out of the game.
No one can tell me here that will not have a huge impact on our season and will be a massive distraction to any hope of making finals.
The media will be all over us. It would be a nightmare.
I also have to laugh at the argument that Cousins is a great trainer, will teach our players how to be their best blah blah..
Look at what happened to WC when he left? That lasting impression helped his team mates enormously didn't it.
There are two sides to every coin. You reap what you sew.

hmm nicely put.Tygrys said:Well I did throw in the observation 'youth policy' (such as it is)'. As youth policies go I admit it's been a pretty lame one during the Wallet era. Still you seem to be implying (and I might be mistaken) that we can give it a real shake next year. With or without Cousins (drug affected or otherwise) that aint going to happen. Some of us believe youth (at least the talent variety) is the way to go and lament the fact that it has on occasions been pursued less than vigorously. Doesn't mean that we can't continue to aspire and argue for it, even if it doesn't always turn out the way we want.

Tigers of Old said:Of course not what's that got to do with anything.
