Yep. Band of Horses are great live. The other half is heading off to the BDO on Saturday while I hang with the kids.

One of the louder gigs I have been to. Played the Palace (the former St Kilda version) back in the early 90s. Saw them at Golden Plains a few years back and will see them at this year's Golden Plains again. Nice to Lou back in the line-up. Might be lucky to see him play a secret sideshow at the Plains with some Sebadoh tunes in the mix.
 
Concerts

Is anybody going to any good concerts this year? I scored tickets to the first ever Ozzfest in Japan, happening at Makuhari Messe in Chiba!

Black Sabbath ;D
What kind of music does the tiger army get into? Who would you pay to see live?

Last two gigs in Australia I went to were Ozzy Osbourne supported by Sevendust, at Brisbane Entertainment Centre in 09 then Les claypoole at the Tivoli in '10

It is hardly the Gunners these days, perhaps a good quality Gunners cover band is a better description.

Saw Godspeed You Black Emperor at The Forum(best mate who is a Bomber bought me the ticket,lovely bloke)

"Between the Bays" concert last night--Tim Fiin James Reyne and the Hoodoos---place was packed, great evening and sensational music!!
