Some great acts including
Tim Finn
The Original Wailers
Marcia Hines
The Badloves
Little Birdy
By far the gig I enjoyed the most was Tin Pan Orange. They are unbelievable.
After the festival, I drove across to Hepburn Springs and saw Kate Miller-Heidke and Megan Washington.
What a weekend. I'm pooped!

Sorry I missed itB1 and B2 said:Not a gig but watched Songbook on Music Max (Fox) last night featured Bernard Sumner from Joy Division / New Order.
Fascinating listening to him talk about songwriting and how they came up with songs like Love Will Tear Us Apart, Bizarre Love Triangle etc.

They played for close to an hour and 3/4, and they played all their good songs, from the early Box Elder, through Summer Babe, Trigger Cut, Cut Your Hair, Range Life, Silence Kit, Rattled by The Rush, Shady Lane etc. Too many songs to do a set list, they must have played close to 30 songs.
They started off quite tight and intense but when they hit some of their slower songs they lost a bit of impetus, they got a bit experimental with some songs, then regained their intensity at the end although they lost their tightness and were quite messy at the end, but thats what I certainly expect of Pavement. All in all it was almost like they'd never split up although I'm not sure Steve Malkmus and Spiral Stairs are getting on.
One thing that was irritating was that Malkmus stood right at the edge of the stage on the right and as I was on a balcony on that side I couldn't see him at all and so had to move to a position up the back where I could see the whole band but the sound was worse.
