Bachar Houli - بشار حولي,

He was terrific I thought - and a little harder at the contest than usual! He also kept his feet more when he has been known to go to ground..

His running is elite

Has been excellent in the last two weeks in an otherwise disappointing second year at the club. Rediscovered his dash and kicking to position over the last fortnight. Maybe wing for 2013?

Not as good as last year but a very serviceable year.

Last month was very strong.

He was having a shocking season, has turned it around in the last 5 weeks, hope he is set for a good year next year.

Very good today, pity he was crap in the games we needed to win against GC and North

Houli was great in the first half, made a few blues in the third quarter I thought but took a telling mark under pressure in the last quarter. He's hit and miss in that situation but just looked a bit more seasoned at times today. Well played.

He's played some of his best games for Richmond (e.g. v Sydney last year) during Ramadan, as well as a couple of ordinary ones, so I don't know that he's let it affect his form greatly.

Solid start to the season and good finish. Not sure what happened in the middle.

No mystery here, generally the weaker and the more injury stricken the opposition, the better he plays. Pressure matches against quality opposition during games that count are not his strength. Again a liability when it matters.

And his top 5 finish in the Jack Dyer medal really backs that up (not). Credit where credits due, Houli had a form slump and managed to pull himself out of it. I certainly wish a number of others would follow suit.
