Bachar Houli - بشار حولي,

Back to his old Essendon ways for Bachar yesterday. Didnt go hard enough on more than one occasion as unfortunately is his want.

Been solid this year though so does deserve some leeway.

I would think/hope playing in the back pocket is part of the learning process Houli. cant see him being a long term prospect there but hopefully he can learn some attributes that will make him a more rounded player when he returns to the midfield.

had an ordinary day at the office, but has built up enough credits this year to date to not dump him

bigger issues in our side than Houli

Maybe he was subconciously thinking "I'll get through this week and turn it on against the Bummers next week". I agree he has been pretty good so far this year and wouldn't crucify him on 1 game. And I am sure he was not totally responsible for us being 7 goals to 1 down at 1/4 time - very hard to claw back from there. Our starts have been costing us this year - but thats for another topic. Keep positive people

He looks good in space when he's running with the ball, but his fear of the contest is a concern.

There was one contest for a Mark, admittedly one of the essendon players was Hille, but HOULI shut his eyes, flung his arms out and jumped up and down on the spot, but don't think he made body contact with anyone and Hille marked uncontested. It looked terrible on the TV. I saw him do similar things against the Dogs last week and he needs to at least cause a spillage.

He started what was the greatest goal of the night.

When Cotchin made that awesome double handed pick up of the ball off the ground ,handballed to Nahas ,who planted it down Jack's throat.

Was pure poetry.

Jack's part was more poetry..........strolled out to lead.

Bummer fans behind me were starting to get angry with their impatient kids.

played a great game tonight..actually he was the only tiger to play a great game tonight..well done

Houli and Foley where the only two players who can hold their head up on tonight. Well done Houli.

Haven't been convinced by him yet, but was good last week and easily BOG tonight. Looked a class above just everyone on either side, bar Martin.
