No snipe, just honesty!

He was terrific last week - seems a mighty gap between his best and his worst.

No doubt he was ordinary but I don't think half back/ or back pocket is a good spot for him. He's going to be beaten 1 on 1 pretty regularly. Should be on the wing.

he is the kind of player that needs to reck them up to have a good game

he doesnt really provide much else other than possessions... 16's not enough for houli

of those 16, i didnt notice any of his pin point switch kicks or long deliveries forward

Just don't see Houli making it as a backman. One on one he's not that good. He's an outside player so get him up on a wing.

Bash has a long kick and should play wing/HF.

tight contested situations are not for him unfortunately. He is not physically strong and considering his build & experience it is a little strange that he is so weak.

hes played 30 games

Nothing wrong with Houli at all. He is never going to be an inside mid, so people should stop trying to pidgeon hole him for it. His positives far outweighed his negatives today and for a bloke travelling so well this year I would have thought the thinly veiled stabs in his back are premature.

Yeah but he's not a teenager either with many of them showing greater application

...and yet in defending today's pathetic effort you couldn't wait to point out that "Grimes was worse".... ::)

where did i defend him?

yes he had a poor game

its all relative and its easy to lose perspective when we lose

Rodney Eade killed his game today, every opponent he had pulled him deep into defense, he no chance defending any high balls. matter of fact the entire backline couldn't do anything about the balls coming in.
Dont bag him, have a look at Newmans output today.

I like Bachar and think he generally has been good but cant believe how scared of physical contact he is. He is well built and should be risking all to forge a career and get the respect of his new team mates. Come on Bachar for Allahs sake put your body on the line!!

has played some great footy for us this year..was excelent last week..but he is not a back pocket player, he was hopeless down there today..put him on a wing

And Eade exposed that beautifully.

By comments like this and abusing everyone who rightly point his flaws and the fact he played like sh!t. Though it's not quite as laughable as your hissy fit defending our Big Doofus of a ruckman.

Stop being an obnoxious self-appointed arbiter of who & what people can and can't critique. :police:
