Bachar Houli - بشار حولي,

Keep it noted: this was a very up-hill skier like effort. :clap

It was never Houli's role to perform well over 4 quarters in slipperly conditions when the rest of the team is underperforming, however in this case, he has delivered.

Good job.

He was very clean against the Hawks when it was pi$$ing down and he excelled in the conditions tonight. One of our better pick ups in the last few weeks, I'll admit that I was critical of his game against the dogs but I think he's finally realising that he belongs out there.

His skills are an absolute delight to watch, when the ball was in his hands you could gurantee that he would kick it and hit a target. HOWEVER he has 1 issue with his game, he sometimes handballs it straight to a teammate that is under pressure, he doesn't seem to like to work it out of traffic too much and can sometimes create issues for his teammates.

Good job by Basher. :clap :clap
He and Foley were probably the only ones that stood up and played their role for the whole 4 quarters.

people seem to always think that wet slippery conditions favour the less talented less skilled hard at it players. IMO it's the other way around. The better skilled players rise when it's slippery because they are better able to handle the ball and deliver it. this is why we struggle in the wet because we don't have enough talented skillful players.

Leysy never thought he'd say this, but Houli's teammates should take leaf out of his application tonight.

On of the few who came to play.

Was very good all night. Followed up from his very good second half against the bombers. Hopefully flew back business class with Foley & Tuck with the rest in cattle.

Yeah, he was good again. Like him having the footy, generally uses it well.

Rarely fumbles the ball even in wet conditions has been solid week in week out.
23 disposals this week with 87% efficiency

Outstanding over the last two weeks in games that shouldn't suit him.

The tag of down hall skier is gone. Has so much time with the ball and rarely makes a bad choice with the ball in his hands.

Will start to get a tag over the next few weeks. That is the next step for him as a footballer.

Yeah, has surprised me, well done to him.

yeah great game. kudos must go to those who targeted him for the RFC.

a player that you just want the footy to be in his hands, streaming forward, & kicking it I50.
